#EndEyeCheck is a global survivor-led network campaigning to raise awareness of Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault

Our aim is to build a global support network for victims, and secure legal reform to criminalise the creation, possession, and online distribution of materials depicting the

sexual assault of unconscious individuals. Its ambition is to build a global movement that brings greater recognition to this form of abuse and drives meaningful change.

The name, EndEyeCheck, refers to the tactic whereby an abuser pulls back or lifts the eyelid of a drugged victim to check that they are fully unconscious before sexually assaulting them.

These attacks are often filmed, with footage sold or streamed online, including through hidden groups and forums on the dark web, contributing to the normalisation of this illegal and abusive material.

The campaign was founded in 2026 by survivor Zoe Watts. For more than a decade, her husband secretly drugged her with sleeping pills administered in cups of tea and raped her while she was unconscious. When confronted with his actions, he sought to characterise the material he had created as “arty” rather than abusive. He was subsequently convicted of offences including rape and is serving an 11-year prison sentence.

Through #EndEyeCheck, Zoe is seeking to turn her experience into a wider international campaign: supporting other survivors, exposing the scale and nature of drug-facilitated

sexual abuse and pressing for stronger laws to tackle both the abuse itself and the creation and circulation of material depicting it.

  • Ensure victims and survivors of drug-facilitated sexual assault can access the advice, support and services they need, wherever they are in the world, while ensuring their experiences help inform and drive lasting change.

ITV News: Your Voice

ITV News has collabarated with End EyeCheck and launched an anonymous survey of survivors as a part of their investigation into the scale of sexual assault and rape carried out by a partner against women who were incapacitated or unconscious.

We’ve launched our fundraising campaign with Chuffed.org to build an international survivor-led movement. Your donations will be used to:

  • Launch a new #EndEyeCheck non-profit in the UK to coordinate legal advocacy campaigns

  • Develop our campaign website and platform to educate the public, lawmakers, and professionals about this issue

  • Develop an international support system and space for community, healing, and support for the thousands of survivors 

  • Implement an education and training program for high schools, colleges, healthcare, and first responders about intimate partner drugging, rape, and consent

  • Develop advocacy and legal justice campaigns to change the laws that allow men to get away with raping their wives, girlfriends, and intimate partners

  • Change the laws that allow people and online platforms to profit from the distribution of images and videos of sexual assaults and rape
